Ahmedabad: The McDonald’s outlet located on Prahladnagar Road has been sealed by the Health Department of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC). The action was taken following a customer complaint alleging that items prepared in the non-vegetarian kitchen were being used in the vegetarian section.

Taking the complaint seriously, AMC’s Food Health Department conducted an immediate inspection. Upon confirming the allegations, the department decided to seal the outlet. The incident has sparked outrage, especially among vegetarian customers, as food purity and vegetarian safety are considered important across Gujarat.
