Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government has appointed Shri Manoj Agarwal, IPS (GJ:1991), currently serving as Director of Civil Defence and Commandant General of Home Guards, Ahmedabad, as the new Director General of Police (DGP) for CID (Crime & Railways), Gandhinagar.

The appointment comes following the upgrade of the vacant Additional Director General of Police post for CID (Crime & Railways) to the ex-cadre DGP position. The notification was issued by M.K.
