NTPC REL commissions 212.5 MW solar project in Gujarat

Kutch: NTPC Renewable Energy, a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy, has commissioned a 212.5 MW solar power project in Gujarat, marking the fourth phase of the 1,255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project.
In a regulatory filing, the company also reported the partial commissioning of Ayana Renewable Power’s 52.8 MW wind capacity, part of its 100 MW hybrid project in Gujarat, which includes 92.4 MW of wind and 37.5 MW of solar power. The project was brought under commercial operation on August 20, 2025, under the CPSU Scheme Phase-II Tranche-III.
Separately, Ayana Renewable Power, through its subsidiary Ayana Renewable Power Four—a joint venture with ONGC NTPC Green Private—confirmed the commercial operation of the 52.8 MW wind component of its hybrid project effective August 21, 2025. DeshGujarat
