Vibrant Navratri Festival 2025 in Ahmedabad Announced; Free Entry for All but Ticketed Entry for Special Zones

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Tourism has announced the Vibrant Navratri Festival 2025, scheduled from September 22 to October 1 at Gujarat University Ground, Ahmedabad. The theme for this year is ‘Aahvaan Ma AadyaShakti’.

The festival will be inaugurated on September 22 in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel, Tourism Minister Mulubhai Bera, and other dignitaries. Organized in collaboration with the Youth and Cultural Activities Department, the opening day will feature a performance by more than 1,000 artists from across Gujarat, including Ras-Dandiya groups.

For the first time, the Garba area will be arranged in an amphitheater-style layout with seating facilities. The venue will feature themed gates, including the “Kalash Gate.”

Nine special Garba zones have been prepared for small groups of up to 50 members. Tickets will be priced at ₹100 per person, with group booking options of 25 and 15 members available on BookMyShow (only for the designated zones).

The festival will also include activities such as selfie points, photo zones, Maha Aarti, a children’s area called Kids City (Baal Nagri) with interactive activities, games, and VR experiences. A food court with 26 stalls will offer local and regional cuisine, while handicraft stalls set up by GLPC and Garvi Gujarat will display and sell traditional products.
