Vadodara: A 30-year-old woman working at the Feeling Wellness Spa in the Sama–Savli area was allegedly kidnapped by three people, including two women, over a monetary dispute of ₹6,000. The victim was confined overnight, assaulted, and forced to dance before being rescued by police on Friday morning.
The victim, Roshni Abdulqadir Sheikh (30), originally from Surat, is employed at the spa on Sama–Savli Road. According to police, one of the accused, Shivani More, previously worked with her at the same spa. A past financial transaction of ₹6,600 between the two had led to disputes, and Roshni had recently asked Shivani to return ₹6,000.
Police said Shivani suspected that Roshni possessed her photos and videos and feared that her friend, Waqar Farid Malik, who was unaware of her employment at the spa, would find out. After Waqar learned about it, the trio allegedly decided to confront Roshni.
On Thursday night, Shivani, Waqar, and another woman, Fazreen Sheikh, arrived at the spa in a car and forcibly took Roshni to a flat in Tandalja. The three allegedly kept her locked in a room all night, assaulted her, and forced her to dance.
On Friday morning, the spa owner, Vivek Goyal, learned about the incident and immediately informed the police. A team reached the flat in Tandalja and rescued the woman. She was taken to Sayaji Hospital for treatment.
Based on Roshni’s complaint, the police have registered a case of kidnapping, criminal conspiracy, wrongful confinement, intimidation, and assault against the three accused, Waqar Farid Malik, Shivani More, and Fazreen Sheikh, all residents of Tandalja. An investigation is underway. DeshGujarat
