Railways to Increase Frequency of Udhna-Brahmapur Amrit Bharat Express to Tri-Weekly

Surat: The first Amrit Bharat Express train from Gujarat, aimed at providing modern, safe and comfortable travel facilities to long-distance passengers at affordable fares, has seen huge demand since its launch. To accommodate this growing demand, the Railways have decided to increase the frequency of Train No. 19021/19022 Udhna–Brahmapur Amrit Bharat Express from weekly to tri-weekly starting tomorrow.
Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 27, 2025, the service aims to strengthen economic and industrial connectivity by linking major mineral, textile and trade corridors, improving both business travel and workforce mobility.
Route
The train operates between Udhna (Surat) and Brahmapur in Odisha, covering important districts across Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.
Key Stoppages
On its Udhna–Brahmapur–Udhna route, the train halts at major stations such as Palasa, Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Titlagarh, Raipur, Nagpur, Bhusaval and Nandurbar. Other stops include Srikakulam, Bobbili, Parvatipuram, Muniguda, Kesinga, Kantabanji, Khariar Road, Mahasamund, Durg, Gondia, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Jalgaon, Navapur, Vyara, Bardoli, among others.
Frequency Increased
Initially operating once a week, the Amrit Bharat Express will now run three times a week starting November 19, 2025.

Bookings for Train No. 19021 opened on November 16, 2025 at PRS counters and on the IRCTC website. The Sleeper Class fare between Udhna and Brahmapur is ₹795. DeshGujarat
