‘Rajadhiraaj: Love Life Leela’ mega musical set for Ahmedabad debut in January 2026

Ahmedabad: The cultural and devotional scene of the city is abuzz with the announcement of “Rajadhiraaj Yatra: Krishna Leela Aapke Dwar”. The producers of Rajadhiraaj: Love Life Leela, the musical, have revealed that the latest leg of their grand production will be coming to Ahmedabad.

The world-renowned mega musical, celebrating the divine life and leelas (miraculous acts) of Lord Krishna, is set to grace the World Heritage City in January 2026, promising an immersive journey into mythology, music, and mesmerizing performances right at the audience’s doorstep.

The exciting reveal came via a captivating Instagram Reel shared by the official Rajadhiraaj – The Musical account and later by Parth Oza, a key member of the show, who shared the news on Facebook.

Although the venue and exact dates for the event will be announced in due course, this Ahmedabad stop marks a pivotal moment in the musical’s ambitious national tour, conceptualized and created by Ahmedabad-based business tycoon Dhanraj Nathwani.

Billed as the “world’s first mega musical on Shri Krishna,” Rajadhiraaj first captivated audiences in 2024 with its premiere at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) The Grand Theatre, drawing thousands of spectators and earning rave reviews for its scale and innovation. The show was later staged at JLN Indoor Stadium in Delhi and also performed internationally at the iconic Dubai Opera.

So why is the show arriving in Ahmedabad only now?

The answer lies in the grandeur of the production. Featuring 20 original songs, over 180 artists, and more than 60 dancers, the musical requires a venue and stage capable of accommodating such a large-scale performance. In addition, the green room and backstage facilities must be extensive enough to support the artists. The lack of such infrastructure in Ahmedabad may have delayed the city’s debut on the musical’s tour. However, with the show now successfully staged in Delhi’s indoor stadium, it is possible that new indoor facilities in Ahmedabad could host the performance.

With the official announcement already made, Ahmedabad audiences can look forward to witnessing this spectacular musical. Details such as the venue, ticketing, and precise show dates will be shared by the organizers in due course.
