November 21, 2025
Surat: Gujarat has witnessed a noticeable rise in minimum temperatures over the past three days, marking a slight relief from the winter chills at night. Meteorological data indicates that night temperatures have increased by 1–3°C across several districts, offering some respite from the biting cold experienced earlier this week. Despite the rise, temperatures still remain below seasonal averages in many parts of the state.
In major cities, Ahmedabad recorded a minimum temperature of 16.7°C, while Surat saw 18.8°C. Vadodara continued to remain on the cooler side at 14.6°C, and Rajkot also logged 14.2°C. Maximum temperatures have largely remained between 29°C and 32°C across these urban centres, continuing the mild winter spell without any rainfall activity.
Among the coldest locations, Naliya remained the chilliest at 11.2°C, followed by Porbandar and Deesa at 14.4°C each. On the warmer side, Okha recorded the highest minimum temperature at 22.6°C, while Veraval and Surat were also on the warmer end with temperatures close to 19°C. Overall, coastal regions continued to remain warmer compared to northern and interior districts. DeshGujarat
