November 24, 2025
Navsari: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will inaugurate a newly constructed bus port in Navsari on Tuesday, November 25. Spread over 5,025 square meters, the modern facility has been built at a cost of Rs. 82 crore.
The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has been developing state bus stations as modern bus ports on a public-private partnership (PPP) model. These facilities include deluxe waiting rooms, RO water systems, departmental stores, canteens, wheelchair access for the differently-abled, and CCTV surveillance to ensure passenger safety. So far, 12 such bus ports have been constructed across Gujarat.
In larger cities, these bus ports also feature additional amenities such as movie theaters, banquet halls, and shopping malls, further enhancing the commuter experience.
The Navsari bus port will be the 13th in the state and will be inaugurated at 5 pm on November 25. The ceremony will be attended by Union Minister for Jal Shakti C.R. Patil, State Finance and Urban Development Minister and Navsari in-charge Kanubhai Desai, Tribal Development Minister Nareshbhai Patel, State Transport Minister Pravinbhai Mali, along with local MLAs and MPs.
