Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Government today announced promotions of six senior IPS officers, including those currently serving on Central deputation. The orders were issued in the name of the Governor of Gujarat.

Here is the list of IPS who have been promoted:

(1) Manoj Sashidhar, IPS (GJ:1994), at present on Central Deputation as Special Director, Central Bureau of Investigation is granted proforma promotion under sub rule (6) of Rule 8 of IPS (Pay) Rules, 2016 in the Director General of Police Grade in the Scale of Pay to Level 16 in the Pay Matrix of Rs. 2,05,400-2,24,400.

(2) Raju Bhargava, IPS (GJ:1995), Additional Director General of Police (Armed Units), Gandhinagar is promoted to Director General of Police Grade in the Scale of Pay to Level 16 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 2,05,400-2,24,400 and appointed on the ex-cadre post of Director General of Police (Armed Units), Gandhinagar by upgrading the cadre post of Additional Director General of Police (Armed Units), Gandhinagar to the ex-cadre post of Director General of Police (Armed Units), Gandhinagar.

(3) Divya Mishra, IPS (GJ:2007), at present on Central Deputation as Additional Deputy Director, Intelligence Bureau is granted proforma promotion under sub rule (6) of Rule 8 of IPS (Pay) Rules, 2016 in the Inspector General of Police Grade in the Scale of Pay to Level 14 in the Pay Matrix of Rs. 1,44,200-2,18,200.

(4) Deepan Bhadran, IPS (GJ:2007), at present on Central Deputation as Director, Senior Executive Cadre of Cabinet Secretariat is granted proforma promotion under sub rule (6) of Rule 8 of IPS (Pay) Rules, 2016 in the Inspector General of Police Grade in the Scale of Pay to Level 14 in the Pay Matrix of Rs. 1,44,200-2,18,200.

(5) Saurabh Tolumbia, IPS (GJ:2007), at present on Central Deputation as Advisor (Security), Gas Authority of India Limited is granted proforma promotion under sub rule (6) of Rule 8 of IPS (Pay) Rules, 2016 in the Inspector General of Police Grade in the Scale of Pay to Level 14 in the Pay Matrix of Rs. 1,44,200-2,18,200.

(6) P.V.Rathod, IPS (GJ:2007), Deputy Inspector General of Police, CID (Crime), Gandhinagar is promoted to Inspector General of Police Grade in the Scale of Pay to Level 14 in Pay Matrix of Rs. 1,44,200-2,18,200 and appointed on the ex-cadre post of Inspector General of Police, CID (Crime), Gandhinagar by upgrading the cadre post of Deputy Inspector General of Police, CID (Crime), Gandhinagar to the ex-cadre post of Inspector General of Police, CID (Crime), Gandhinagar.

The Home Department has certified that all promotions granted under Rule 8(6) of the IPS (Pay) Rules, 2016 fulfill the mandatory conditions for officers currently on Central deputation. DeshGujarat
