At the invitation of King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, the Prime Minister will begin his visit in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from December 15–16. He is scheduled to meet King Abdullah II to review the full spectrum of India–Jordan relations and exchange views on key developments in the region. The visit coincides with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries, and is expected to provide momentum to bilateral cooperation while reaffirming India’s commitment to regional peace, security and stability.
In the second leg, the Prime Minister will travel to Ethiopia from December 16–17 for a State visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali.
