Gujarat sees cold nights as minimum temperatures in major cities remain below 15°C

Ahmedabad: Gujarat continued to experience mild to chilly winter conditions as minimum temperatures across most parts of the state remained close to normal, according to the latest weather observations recorded at 8.30 am this morning.
Among major cities, Ahmedabad recorded a minimum temperature of 14°C, slightly above normal by 0.8°C, while Surat registered 13.8°C, which was 2.3°C below normal, indicating slightly cooler night conditions. Baroda (Vadodara) saw a minimum temperature of 12.2°C, nearly 1.8°C below normal, whereas Rajkot recorded 12.8°C, also around 1.1°C below its seasonal average.
In other parts of the state, Naliya in Kutch recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 9.8°C, marginally below normal, while Okha remained the warmest at 21.6°C. Coastal stations such as Dwarka (17.6°C), Veraval (17.3°C), Bhavnagar (14.8°C) and Porbandar (13.4°C) reported cool but stable night temperatures. Other stations, including Gandhinagar (13°C) and Deesa (13.3°C), also stayed close to normal levels.
No rainfall was reported anywhere in the state over the past 24 hours, while humidity levels during the morning hours remained moderate to high in coastal and south Gujarat regions.
Meteorological officials said overall temperature patterns indicate stable winter conditions across Gujarat, with no significant cold wave or rainfall activity expected in the immediate future. DeshGujarat
