No sharp dip in minimum temperatures across Gujarat; Ahmedabad at 16.2°C, Baroda colder at 13.0°C

Ahmedabad: Minimum temperatures across Gujarat remained largely mild to near normal last night. Among the colder centres, Dahod recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 10°C, while Amreli registered 13.2°C, close to the seasonal average. Rajkot reported a minimum of 13.4°C, marginally below normal, while Baroda recorded 13°C, also slightly below the usual level.

In north and central Gujarat, Ahmedabad logged a minimum temperature of 16.2°C, about 3 degrees above normal, while Gandhinagar recorded 15.2°C, nearly 4 degrees above the average. Deesa registered a minimum of 14.8°C, which was over 3 degrees above normal.

Coastal regions continued to experience comparatively warmer nights. Dwarka recorded a minimum of 18.6°C, Porbandar 17.2°C, Veraval 18.2°C, while Okha remained the warmest with a minimum temperature of 21°C. Bhavnagar and Diu reported minimum temperatures of 15.4°C and 15.6°C, respectively.

In Kutch, Bhuj recorded a minimum of 14.3°C, Naliya 12.8°C, and Kandla 16°C, while Jamnagar reported 18°C. In south Gujarat, Surat recorded a minimum temperature of 16.4°C, with the Surat KVK station logging 17.2°C.

No rainfall was reported from any part of the state during the observation period. Meteorological officials said minimum temperatures across Gujarat are expected to remain stable over the next 24 hours, with clear skies and dry weather prevailing. DeshGujarat
