Gandhinagar: After transfers of 26 IAS officers a day ago, the Government of Gujarat has today announced fresh transfers of two more IAS officers.

The government has in partial modification to its notification of 23 December announced that Mohammad Shahid, IAS (RR:GJ:1998), Principal Secretary to Government, Social Justice & Empowerment Department, is transferred and appointed as Commissioner of Cottage & Rural Industries and Principal Secretary to Government (Cottage and Rural Industries), Industries & Mines Department, relieving Ms. Ardra Agrawal, IAS of additional charge of that post.

In earlier notification Mohammad Shahid, IAS (RR:GJ:1998), Principal Secretary to Government, Social Justice & Empowerment Department was transferred and appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Tribal Development Department relieving Smt. Shahmeena Husain, IAS of additional charge of that post.

The Government has today also announced that Smt. Shahmeena Husain, IAS (RR:GJ:1997), Principal Secretary to Government, Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply and Kalpsar Department (Water Supply) would continue to hold additional charge of the post of Principal Secretary to Government, Tribal Development Department until further orders.
