Gujarat sees mild winter nights with minimum temperatures rising across many places

Ahmedabad: People of Gujarat experienced generally mild winter nights on Wednesday, 24 December 2025, with minimum temperatures across the state remaining above normal in most regions, according to the latest weather report of the Indian Meteorological Department.
Ahmedabad recorded a minimum temperature of 15.6°C, 2.6°C above normal, while Gandhinagar saw a low of 15.5°C, 4°C higher than usual. Other central and northern districts also witnessed warmer nights than usual, with Deesa reporting 16°C (5.2°C above normal) and Baroda recording 14.2°C (0.8°C above normal).
Coastal areas remained relatively warmer, with Dwarka at 19.4°C, Surat at 19°C, and Veraval at 19.1°C. Okha reported the highest minimum in the region at 21.3°C, slightly above normal.
In the Saurashtra region, Rajkot registered a low of 14.1°C, 0.5°C above normal, while Porbandar recorded 17°C. Bhavnagar and Amreli reported minimums of 15.6°C and 12°C, respectively.
Among the coldest places, Dahod and Dang saw cooler nights with minimums at 11.5°C and 11.7°C, respectively, while Bhuj recorded 14°C.
Humidity levels in the morning ranged from 42% in Jamnagar to 80% in Rajkot, with no rainfall reported across the state.
The weather department has forecast generally dry conditions to continue over Gujarat for the next few days, with daytime temperatures remaining slightly above seasonal averages and nights continuing to be mild. DeshGujarat
