Ahmedabad: A new timetable will be implemented on the Ahmedabad Division of Western Railway from January 1, 2026. Under the revised schedule, the speed of several trains has been increased, enabling them to reach their destinations earlier than their current scheduled timings.

As part of the revision, the speed of 85 trains passing through the Ahmedabad Division has been enhanced, while the travel time of 23 trains has been reduced by 5 to 40 minutes. With improved operational efficiency, the running time of passenger trains has decreased, benefiting passengers by shortening journey durations.

Under the new timetable, the timings of 110 trains have been preponed at various stations across the division, with arrivals advanced by 5 to 40 minutes. Meanwhile, the timings of 57 trains have been postponed, resulting in delays ranging from 5 to 45 minutes.

Train timings will change at several stations within the Ahmedabad Division, including Ahmedabad, Sabarmati, Mehsana, Palanpur, Patan, Bhildi, Unjha, Siddhpur, Gandhinagar, Kalol, Viramgam, Gandhidham, Himmatnagar, Halvad, Dhrangadhra, Samakhyali, Bhuj, and other locations. Trains will arrive earlier or later than their existing schedules. Details of some major trains are given below.

Major Trains Departing Earlier from Originating Stations
