Bhavnagar: A new timetable will be implemented on the Bhavnagar Division of Western Railway with effect from January 1, 2026, bringing changes in the timings of several trains operating from various stations across the division.

According to Atul Kumar Tripathi, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of the Bhavnagar Division, the revised timetable includes speed enhancements for several trains, aimed at reducing travel time and improving passenger convenience.

Under the new schedule, four trains running through the Bhavnagar Division will depart earlier than their existing scheduled timings, while eight trains will depart later than their current timings. In addition, the speed of 17 trains passing through the division has been increased, resulting in a reduction in travel time ranging from five minutes to 50 minutes. Railway officials said the improved operational efficiency will help passengers reach their destinations faster.

Trains Departing Earlier Than Scheduled

1. Train No. 59228 Bhavnagar–Surendranagar Passenger will depart Bhavnagar Terminus at 05:05 hrs instead of 05:10 hrs.

2. Train No. 59234 Bhavnagar–Surendranagar Passenger will depart Bhavnagar Terminus at 13:30 hrs instead of 13:40 hrs.

3. Train No. 19209 Bhavnagar–Okha Daily Express will depart Bhavnagar Terminus at 22:00 hrs instead of 22:10 hrs.

4. Train No. 59554 Botad–Gandhigram Passenger will depart Botad at 17:00 hrs instead of 17:10 hrs.

Trains Departing Later Than Scheduled

1. Train No. 16333 Veraval–Thiruvananthapuram Central Express will depart Veraval at 06:55 hrs instead of 06:50 hrs.

2. Train No. 11463 Veraval–Jabalpur Express will depart Veraval at 10:10 hrs instead of 10:05 hrs.

3. Train No. 11465 Veraval–Jabalpur Express will depart Veraval at 10:10 hrs instead of 10:05 hrs.

4. Train No. 26902 Veraval–Sabarmati Vande Bharat Express will depart Veraval at 14:45 hrs instead of 14:40 hrs.

5. Train No. 19204 Veraval–Bandra Express will depart Veraval at 19:00 hrs instead of 18:40 hrs, a delay of 20 minutes.

6. Train No. 59215 Bhanvad–Porbandar Passenger will depart Bhanvad at 22:40 hrs instead of 21:50 hrs, a delay of 50 minutes.

7. Train No. 59555 Gandhigram–Botad Passenger will depart Gandhigram at 19:00 hrs instead of 18:50 hrs.

8. Train No. 59271 Botad–Bhavnagar Passenger will depart Botad at 15:50 hrs instead of 15:45 hrs.

Railway officials clarified that trains currently cancelled until January 25, 2026, due to ongoing repair work on the pit line at Bhavnagar Terminus station will remain cancelled.
