Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad Police had earlier announced the closure of the Shahibaug underbridge from January 5 to January 12, 2026, to facilitate segment installation work on pillars constructed under the Government of India’s High-Speed Bullet Train project. However, due to unforeseen reasons, the proposed work has now been put on hold, as per the latest notification from Joint Commissioner of Police N. N. Chaudhary.

As a result, the Shahibaug underbridge will continue to remain open for regular vehicular movement as usual. Citizens are informed accordingly. DeshGujarat
