Special military band program to be held at Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad

Gandhinagar: A special military band program will be held at Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad from January 19 to 25.  The AMC has communicated this in a press release to media today. However the press release doesn’t mention the time and exact place on the Riverfront.

The press release stated: ‘As part of the country’s 77th Republic Day celebrations, the Ministry of Defence is organizing a military band performance across the country. These programs will be organized in coordination with the Indian Armed Forces – Army, Navy, Air Force, Indian Coast Guard (ICG) and Central Paramilitary Forces (CAPFs).’

‘According to information received from the Ministry of Defence, this band performance will be held from January 19 to January 26, 2026. The main purpose of this program is to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the song ‘Vande Mataram’ and to highlight the values ​​of patriotism, unity, sacrifice and unwavering love for the motherland.’

‘Under this, special programs have also been organized in various cities of Gujarat. A special military band program will be held at Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad from January 19 to 25.’
