Ahmedabad: In another boost to air connectivity between Gujarat and Maharashtra, IndiGo has announced new direct flights connecting Navi Mumbai International Airport with key Gujarat cities, Ahmedabad and Rajkot, effective March 29, 2026.

The airline will deploy its ATR aircraft on these routes, strengthening short-haul regional operations and improving connectivity between Gujarat’s commercial and tourism hubs and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

Daily Direct Connectivity for Ahmedabad

Under the new schedule, IndiGo will operate daily direct flights between Ahmedabad and Navi Mumbai. Flight 6E 7018 will depart from Ahmedabad at 7:10 pm and arrive in Navi Mumbai at 8:40 pm. The return flight, 6E 7017, will leave Navi Mumbai at 9:10 pm and reach Ahmedabad at 10:35 pm.

The new service is expected to benefit business travellers, industry stakeholders, and frequent flyers commuting between Gujarat’s financial capital and Mumbai’s upcoming aviation hub, ensuring smoother and more time-efficient travel.

Early Morning Service for Rajkot

Saurashtra’s key city, Rajkot, will also receive a convenient early morning daily service under the revised schedule. Flight 6E 7045 will operate from Navi Mumbai to Rajkot between 7:00 am and 8:15 am. The return flight, 6E 7046, will depart from Rajkot at 8:45 am and arrive in Navi Mumbai at 9:45 am.

The introduction of this service is expected to enhance connectivity for business travellers and the MSME sector in Rajkot, which has emerged as a major industrial and engineering hub in Gujarat, facilitating faster access to Mumbai’s expanding commercial ecosystem.

More Cities Added to Navi Mumbai Network

In addition to Ahmedabad and Rajkot, IndiGo will also launch daily services connecting Navi Mumbai with Diu, Goa, Belgaum, and Kolhapur from the same date.

These services build on IndiGo’s expanding presence at Navi Mumbai, offering convenient schedules, greater flexibility, and seamless air travel.
