Youth Suffers Five Stitches in Monkey Attack in Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: After one incident of stray dog menace after another, a case of monkey menace has now come to light in the state capital. A youth was injured in a monkey attack in the Randheja area of Gandhinagar, triggering fear among local residents.
According to reports, the monkey suddenly attacked and bit the youth, causing injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, where he received five stitches.
Upon being informed, a team from the Forest Department reached the spot and captured the monkey, placing it in a cage.
Residents expressed relief after the animal was secured. The sudden attack had created panic and commotion in the locality. DeshGujarat
