Rabies Scare in Gujarat Village: Buffalo Dies After Dog Bite, Villagers Rush for Vaccination

Sabarkantha: Yet another case of stray dog menace has come to light in the state. A shocking incident has emerged from Lalod village in Idar taluka of Sabarkantha district, where a rabid dog reportedly bit a buffalo, which later died after showing symptoms of rabies.
The incident triggered panic among villagers after it was revealed that several people had consumed milk from the buffalo before its death. Fearing possible exposure to rabies, residents rushed to the Civil Hospital to receive precautionary vaccinations.
According to available information, a large number of villagers reached the hospital for treatment, creating a rush at the facility. So far, around 15 people have been administered anti-rabies injections at the Civil Hospital. DeshGujarat
