2.5 Kg Silver Crown Offered to Bhagwan Krishna at Bhalka Tirth by Ahmedabad Devotee Family

Prabhas Patan: A beautifully crafted silver crown has been offered to Lord Krishna at the sacred Bhalka Tirth in Prabhas Patan, one of the most revered sites associated with the life of Lord Krishna.

Bhalka Tirth is traditionally believed to be the place where Lord Krishna, after being struck by an arrow from a hunter (Pardhi), departed for Vaikuntha, symbolizing the universal principle of karma.

On the auspicious occasion of Falgun Vad Dasham, which fell on a Saturday, the family of Ahmedabad-based devotee Yogeshbhai Patel ceremoniously donated the ornate crown to the Shri Somnath Trust.

The crown, weighing about 2.5 kilograms of silver and embellished with fine enamel work, was specially crafted over a period of nearly four months by skilled artisans.

The donor family formally handed over the crown to the Shri Somnath Trust with devotion. On the occasion, Somnath Trust trustee Prof. J. D. Parmar honoured the family and expressed gratitude on behalf of the Trust for their devotional offering.

According to the Trust, the crown will be used during the special adornment (shringar) of Lord Krishna, allowing devotees visiting Bhalka Tirth to have a divine glimpse of the deity adorned with the newly offered crown. DeshGujarat
