Rajkot: A video showing a cockroach crawling on a sandwich at the canteen of R World INOX Cinema in Rajkot has gone viral on social media, raising concerns over food safety and hygiene standards. The incident reportedly occurred on the evening of March 19, when a customer visiting the theatre to watch the movie Dhurandhar recorded the video during the interval.

According to the customer, the cockroach was seen moving on a sandwich kept at the canteen counter. When the issue was brought to the notice of the canteen staff and manager, they claimed that the sandwich was only for display and was not meant for sale. The item was later removed after the customer objected and recorded the video.
