Patan Gets a New Modern Bus Port of GSRTC

Patan: Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi today inaugurated a modern bus port built in Patan under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model by the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) and M/s Katira Construction (Patan) Pvt. Ltd.

The new bus port is spread over an area of approximately 15,974 square meters and has been constructed at a cost of around ₹17 crore.

Sanghvi also announced the provision of three new AC buses for Patan district.

He said that from tomorrow, bus operations will commence from the new facility, with around 850 arrivals and departures daily, benefiting more than 20,000 passengers directly. The state government is moving forward with a firm resolve to provide GSRTC bus services to 30 lakh passengers daily by 2027.

He added that this bus port is not just a facility, but a symbol of Patan’s new identity and pride. The cooperation of every citizen is essential to maintain this modern infrastructure. In particular, maintaining cleanliness is everyone’s responsibility—by using dustbins, citizens can help keep the facility clean, beautiful, and well-organized.

After the inauguration, he visited the temple of Nagardevi Kalika Mataji, where he offered prayers and sought blessings.

Sanghavi announced that on the 31st, the country’s popular Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will visit North Gujarat, where a 3D mapping show will be inaugurated at the world-famous Rani Ki Vav. DeshGujarat
