Gandhinagar, March 30: The Government of Gujarat has announced the transfer and new appointment of IAS officer Ashish Kumar.

According to the order released by the General Administration Department (GAD), Ashish Kumar, a 2014-batch Gujarat cadre IAS officer, has been transferred from his current role as Director of Tribal Development, Gandhinagar. He has been appointed as Secretary to the Deputy Chief Minister at the Sachivalaya in Gandhinagar.

The announcement further states that Ashish Kumar will continue to hold the additional charge of Director, Tribal Development, Gandhinagar, until further orders are issued. DeshGujarat
