Temperature Trend

Maximum temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged over the next 24 hours, followed by a drop of 2–3°C in subsequent days. On Tuesday, the highest temperature recorded in the state was 37.1°C at Vallabh Vidyanagar.

Synoptic Situation

The changing weather is attributed to multiple weather systems, including upper air cyclonic circulations over Rajasthan and adjoining Kutch, along with the influence of a western disturbance over Iran and surrounding regions. These systems are contributing to instability and triggering thunderstorm activity over Gujarat.

Ahmedabad Forecast

For Ahmedabad and surrounding areas, the sky is expected to remain partly cloudy, with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 37°C in the next 24 hours.

Advisory

Authorities have advised people to remain cautious during thunderstorms. Gusty winds may lead to uprooting of trees, damage to standing crops, and disruption of power lines. Residents are advised to stay indoors during lightning activity, avoid sheltering under trees, and keep away from electric poles and water bodies. DeshGujarat
