Gandhinagar: Gujarat has ranked among the top five states in the country for the highest number of MSME Udyam registrations, the state government said on Wednesday.

Over 30 lakh MSME units in the state have completed Udyam registration so far. Ahmedabad and Surat are also among the top 10 districts nationwide in terms of registrations, the government added.

Since February 2006, a total of 50,894 claims from MSME units have been approved, with financial assistance of around ₹2,310 crore disbursed, according to official data. DeshGujarat
