BJP Office Peon of 28 Years Gets Ticket for Mehsana Civic Polls

Mehsana: In a move that has drawn public attention, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced Ramesh Bhil as its official candidate for the Mehsana Municipal Corporation (MMC) elections. The nomination has generated buzz, as Bhil has been serving as a peon at the Mehsana district BJP headquarters, ‘Panchamrut’, for the past 28 years.
For nearly three decades, Ramesh Bhil has been a constant presence at the party office. His nomination from Ward No. 13 is being seen as a recognition of his long-standing loyalty and dedication to the party.
Reacting to the announcement, Bhil said, “I have been serving as a peon at the Bharatiya Janata Party office for the last 28 years, and I am very grateful to the party for recognising my work.”
The state BJP on Friday announced its list of candidates for various municipal corporations, including the Mehsana Municipal Corporation. In Mehsana, 52 candidates have been fielded across 13 wards. DeshGujarat
