GSRTC Launches Ahmedabad – Surat Volvo AC Bus Service via Delhi-Mumbai Expressway

Ahmedabad: Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) today announced the launch of a new non-stop Volvo bus service connecting Ahmedabad and Surat. The service will operate via the newly operational Vadodara–Surat section of the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway, aiming to improve connectivity and reduce travel costs for passengers.
The new service will run between Nehrunagar in Ahmedabad and Surat, with buses departing from Nehrunagar at 6:45 am and from Surat at 1 pm.
According to GSRTC, the fare for the Nehrunagar–Surat journey has been fixed at Rs 687, allowing passengers to save approximately Rs 61 compared to existing travel costs.
The transport corporation said online advance bookings for the service can be made through its official website and mobile application.
The move is part of efforts to strengthen inter-city transport services through newly developed highway infrastructure and provide faster and more convenient travel options. DeshGujarat
