Traffic Block at Vadodara Railway Station to Affect Several Train Services for One Month

Vadodara: Western Railway has announced changes in the origination and termination points of several trains due to ongoing Non-Interlocking (NI) work involving yard remodelling and the commissioning of an Electronic Interlocking system at Vadodara station yard.

The infrastructure work under the Vadodara Division commenced on May 16, 2026. To facilitate the project, a Traffic and Power Block will be implemented at Vadodara station from May 21 to June 20, 2026.

According to a press release issued by Anubhav Saxena, Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, train operations will be temporarily modified to ensure passenger convenience and maintain safe railway operations. As part of the arrangements, the origination and termination points of certain trains will be shifted to Vishwamitri, Bajwa, Chhayapuri, and Makarpura stations.

Due to the major infrastructure upgrade, several trains will operate with short termination or short origination during the period.

Trains short-originating from Chhayapuri station:

  • Train No. 69233 Vadodara–Dahod MEMU
  • Train No. 69117 Vadodara–Dahod MEMU
  • Train No. 69119 Vadodara–Dahod MEMU
  • Train No. 69121 Vadodara–Godhra MEMU

These trains will originate from Chhayapuri between May 21 and June 20 and remain cancelled between Vadodara and Chhayapuri.

Trains short-originating from Bajwa station:

  • Train No. 69101 Vadodara–Vatva MEMU
  • Train No. 69115 Vadodara–Vatva MEMU
  • Train No. 69113 Vadodara–Vatva MEMU
  • Train No. 69107 Vadodara–Vatva MEMU

These services will remain cancelled between Vadodara and Bajwa.

Trains short-terminating at Vishwamitri station:

  • Train No. 69109 Surat–Vadodara MEMU
  • Train No. 69111 Surat–Vadodara MEMU

These trains will remain cancelled between Vishwamitri and Vadodara.

Trains short-terminating at Chhayapuri station:

  • Train No. 69122 Godhra–Vadodara MEMU
  • Train No. 69120 Dahod–Vadodara MEMU
  • Train No. 69118 Godhra–Vadodara MEMU
  • Train No. 69234 Dahod–Vadodara MEMU

These services will remain cancelled between Chhayapuri and Vadodara.

Trains short-terminating at Bajwa station:

  • Train No. 69114 Vatva–Vadodara MEMU
  • Train No. 69108 Vatva–Vadodara MEMU
  • Train No. 69102 Vatva–Vadodara MEMU

These trains will remain cancelled between Bajwa and Vadodara.

Additionally, Train No. 12930 Vadodara–Valsad Intercity Superfast Express will originate from Bajwa station at 4:45 pm from May 21 to June 20. However, it will halt at Vadodara station for five minutes from 5:05 pm to 5:10 pm.

Meanwhile, Train No. 59049 Valsad–Vadodara Passenger will short-terminate at Makarpura station and remain cancelled between Makarpura and Vadodara, while Train No. 59050 Vadodara–Valsad Passenger will originate from Makarpura and remain cancelled between Vadodara and Makarpura during the same period.
