Fire Breaks Out at Solitaire Corporate Building on SG Highway; 10 Tenders Deployed

Ahmedabad: A major fire broke out on the third floor of the Solitaire Corporate Building on SG Highway in the city this afternoon, triggering panic and chaos in the area as flames rapidly spread to the upper floors. Fire officials rushed multiple teams to the spot and launched a large-scale operation to bring the blaze under control.

According to preliminary information, the fire is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit. Officials said the blaze originated on the third floor and later spread to the fourth and fifth floors, causing significant damage to parts of the building.

Nearly 10 fire brigade vehicles, along with a hydraulic platform, were deployed at the scene considering the seriousness of the incident. Fire personnel initiated rescue and firefighting operations on a war footing amid initial concerns that some people could be trapped inside the building.

Thick smoke was seen billowing from the upper floors as firefighters used water jets to control the flames. The intensity of the fire caused glass panels of the building to shatter, drawing a large crowd from nearby areas.

Senior officials, including the Chief Fire Officer, also reached the spot to supervise the operation. Firefighters continued efforts to prevent the blaze from spreading further and avert a larger tragedy. DeshGujarat
