Fire Engulfs Flat Near Jivraj Park in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: A fire broke out in a locked flat at Sahajanand Tower near Jivraj Park Crossroads this morning. While the flat was completely gutted in the incident, no casualties were reported, officials said.
According to details, the fire suddenly erupted in a locked flat at Sahajanand Tower and quickly intensified, with thick smoke and flames spreading rapidly throughout the house. The incident created panic among local residents as the fire engulfed the flat within a short period.

The blaze caused extensive damage to household goods and valuables kept inside the flat. Locals immediately alerted the fire department, following which fire tenders rushed to the spot.
Fire personnel launched an operation and sprayed water to control the flames. After considerable efforts, the fire department managed to bring the blaze under control and prevented it from spreading further, averting a major tragedy.
Officials said the flat was unoccupied at the time of the incident. Household items and valuables inside the residence were reduced to ashes in the fire.
