Dakor: Lakhs of devotees thronged the famed Ranchhodraiji Temple in Dakor on the occasion of Jyeshtha Purnima during the Adhik Purushottam month, with an estimated 3 to 4 lakh pilgrims visiting the shrine throughout the day to seek the blessings of Lord Ranchhodraiji.

The pilgrimage town witnessed an overwhelming turnout from the early hours of the morning as devotees gathered in large numbers for darshan of Kaliya Thakor. The entire town of Dakor was immersed in a deeply devotional atmosphere.

On the auspicious occasion of Adhik Maas Purnima, the temple opened its doors for the special Mangal Seva Darshan. As devotees entered the temple premises, chants of “Jai Ranchhod, Makhanchor” reverberated throughout the complex. Worshippers were left mesmerized by the divine appearance and special adornment of the deity, with many describing the experience as spiritually uplifting.

Despite the prevailing heat, devotees continued to arrive in large numbers, with roads leading to Dakor witnessing a constant stream of pilgrims. Long queues formed throughout the day as worshippers patiently waited for their turn to offer prayers.

To manage the massive crowd, the Dakor Temple Committee and local police administration deployed extensive security and crowd-control arrangements. Special barricades and queue-management systems were put in place to ensure smooth and hassle-free darshan for devotees.

Temple authorities said the turnout was among the largest witnessed in recent years on Adhik Maas Purnima, making the occasion a significant milestone in the history of the temple and the pilgrimage town. DeshGujarat
