Western Railway Extends Ahmedabad – Patna Weekly Special Train Service

Ahmedabad: In view of the ongoing summer vacation and the rising passenger demand, Western Railway has extended the operation of the Ahmedabad–Patna Weekly Special train, providing relief to thousands of travellers commuting between Gujarat and Bihar.
According to an official release, Train No. 09447 Ahmedabad–Patna Weekly Special, which was earlier scheduled to operate until May 27, 2026, will now continue service up to June 3, 2026.
Similarly, Train No. 09448 Patna–Ahmedabad Weekly Special, previously announced to run until May 29, 2026, has been extended and will now operate up to June 5, 2026.
Western Railway said the decision was taken to accommodate the increased passenger rush during the summer travel season and to facilitate smoother travel for passengers on the busy Gujarat–Bihar route.
Passengers have been advised to check the official Indian Railways enquiry portal for detailed information regarding the train’s schedule, halts, timings and coach composition before undertaking their journey. DeshGujarat
