Surat: Air India Express will resume its direct flight service between Surat and Dubai from June 3, restoring a key international air link that had been suspended following disruptions caused by the Iran conflict.
The airline will operate the service three times a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
According to the schedule, the flight will depart from Surat at 2:10 am and arrive in Dubai at 5:15 am. The return flight will leave Dubai at 6:40 am and land in Surat at 9:50 am.
The resumption of the direct service is expected to benefit business travellers, tourists and members of the Indian diaspora travelling between South Gujarat and the UAE. Bookings for the flight have resumed on the airline’s website and other travel portals.
The Surat–Dubai route is considered one of the most important international connections from the city, serving a large number of traders, professionals and expatriates with links to the Gulf region.
