Gujarat Govt assigns Additional Charges to Six IAS, GAS Officers

Ahmedabad: The Gujarat government on Tuesday assigned additional charges to six senior IAS and Gujarat Administrative Service (GAS) officers following the retirement of several officials.

According to an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), IAS officer Sanjay K. Modi, Executive Director of the Gujarat State Tribal Development Residential Educational Institution Society (GSTDREIS), Gandhinagar, has been given the additional charge of Executive Director of the Gujarat Tribal Development Corporation, Gandhinagar. He will hold the post until further orders following the retirement of C.B. Balat, IAS.

Yogesh B. Nirgude, IAS, Additional Development Commissioner, Gandhinagar, has been assigned the additional charge of District Development Officer (DDO), Gandhinagar, after the retirement of B.J. Patel, IAS.

Similarly, Rachit Raj, IAS, Director of Scheduled Castes Welfare, Gandhinagar, will additionally serve as Managing Director of the Gujarat Unreserved Educational and Economical Development Corporation, Gandhinagar, following the retirement of P.D. Palsana, IAS.

Prashasti Pareek, IAS, Managing Director of Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company Ltd., Gandhinagar, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Additional Rural Development Commissioner in the Commissionerate of Rural Development, Gandhinagar. She succeeds B.M. Prajapati, IAS, who has retired.

Among GAS officers, S.D. Tabiyar, Director of the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Dangs-Ahwa, has been given the additional charge of District Development Officer, Dangs-Ahwa, following the retirement of K.S. Vasava, IAS.

Likewise, H.P. Joshi, Director of DRDA, Devbhumi Dwarka, has been assigned the additional charge of District Development Officer, Devbhumi Dwarka, after the retirement of A.B. Pandor, IAS.
