June 02, 2026
Ahmedabad: As part of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project, traffic restrictions and diversions have been announced on the Kankaria–Anupam Bridge corridor in Ahmedabad to facilitate the construction and installation of a steel bridge.
The piling and segment installation work for the high-speed rail project between Sabarmati and Vatva is being carried out by Dineshchandra R. Agrawal Infracon Pvt. Ltd. Under the project, a steel bridge is being erected on the Anupam (Apparel Park) Bridge stretch connecting Kankaria and Anupam Cinema.
Although a traffic diversion plan for the work was earlier approved and announced through a press note issued on February 24, 2026, the construction could not proceed at that time due to technical reasons. The company will now execute the work in phases.
