Operation Delta Hunt: 609 Illegal Bangladeshi Nationals Detained Across Gujarat

Ahmedabad: As part of Operation Delta Hunt, law enforcement agencies across Gujarat have detained a total of 609 illegal Bangladeshi nationals from various parts of the state as of 8 pm on June 6.
According to official figures, those detained include 161 men, 323 women, and 125 children.
The highest number of detentions was reported from Ahmedabad City, where 207 Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended. This was followed by Ahmedabad Rural with 64 detentions, Surat City with 120, Bharuch district with 61, and Kheda district with 22.
Officials said the individuals were found residing in Gujarat illegally and were detained during coordinated operations carried out by police and other agencies across multiple districts. Further verification and legal proceedings are underway in accordance with applicable laws. DeshGujarat
