Gujarat Congress announces Farmers’ rally with 1,111 Tractors to Gandhinagar on Monday

Gandhinagar: The main opposition Congress party in Gujarat announced today that it will hold “Farmer Rights Tractor Rally” in the State capital Gandhinagar on Monday, June 15.

The party in a press release alleged that farmers are facing difficulties due to the BJP government’s policies.

The release further stated that farmers from various parts of Gujarat are expected to participate in the rally, which is being organized jointly by the Kisan Congress and Kisan Sangharsh Samiti. The rally will start at 11 am from Shantipura Circle. Organizers announced that around 1,111 tractors will participate in the march towards Gandhinagar. The farmers will submit their demands to the State government.

The organizers said the rally wil be peaceful in democratic manner. They alleged that government authorities are facilitating the installation of power lines for private company through agricultural land.

Senior Congress leaders, including Amit Chavda and Tushar Chaudhary, are expected to address the gathering. DeshGujarat
