Which Places in Gujarat May Get Rain in Next 3 Days? Here’s IMD Forecast

Ahmedabad: As Gujarat awaits the arrival of the monsoon to get some relief from the scorching heat, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that light to moderate pre-monsoon showers are likely in a few districts over the next three days, until June 18.

According to the IMD bulletin, light rainfall is likely in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha and Aravalli districts, while the rest of Gujarat is expected to remain largely dry today.

On June 17 and 18, districts in South Gujarat, including Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari and Valsad, as well as the Union Territories of Daman and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall. Weather conditions are expected to remain dry across the rest of the state.

The IMD forecast, which covers the period up to 8:30 am on June 23, indicates that dry weather is likely to prevail across all districts of Gujarat from June 19 onwards.

The rain forecast comes as southwesterly winds continue to prevail at lower levels over the region. In addition, a Western Disturbance is likely to affect northwest India from June 18, 2026. DeshGujarat
