Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government on Wednesday transferred and posted two senior IAS officers, assigning them new responsibilities in the state administration.

Roopwant Singh, IAS (RR:GJ:2003), Managing Director, Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd., Ahmedabad, is transferred and appointed as Chief Commissioner of State Tax, Ahmedabad, relieving Dr. T. Natarajan, IAS, of the additional charge of that post.

Singh would hold additional charge of the post of Managing Director, Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd., Ahmedabad, until further orders.

Alok Kumar Pandey, IAS (RR:GJ:2006), Commissioner of Relief and Ex-officio Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, is transferred and appointed as Secretary to Government, Tribal Development Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, relieving Smt. Shahmeena Husain, IAS, of the additional charge of that post. DeshGujarat
