Where Did It Rain in Gujarat? 24-Hour Rainfall Data Here

Gandhinagar: Rainfall has been recorded in many areas of the state during the last 24 hours. The highest rainfall of 116 mm was recorded in Halol taluka of Panchmahal district. After that, Godhra recorded 85 mm, Jambughoda 80 mm and Shehera 78 mm of rainfall, making Panchmahal district the most rain-affected district in the state.
According to the state rainfall data, Barwala of Botad district recorded 70 mm of rainfall, Kadi of Mehsana district 65 mm and Ghoghamba of Panchmahal 55 mm of rainfall. Nadiad of Kheda recorded 53 mm of rainfall and Morwa Hadaf of Panchmahal 51 mm of rainfall.
Bodeli of Chhota Udepur district recorded 38 mm of rainfall, Kathamba of Mahisagar 36 mm, Jetpur Pavi 33 mm and Santrampur 30 mm of rainfall. Dhandhuka in Ahmedabad district received 28 mm of rain and Kalol in Gandhinagar district received 27 mm. These were the places that received over an inch of rain.
Savli in Vadodara district received 26 mm of rain, Galteshwar in Kheda received 25 mm of rain and Wadali in Sabarkantha received 25 mm of rain. Jamnagar city received 23 mm of rain, Devgadh Baria in Dahod received 20 mm of rain and Limbdi in Surendranagar also received 20 mm of rain.
Kamrej in Surat district received 12 mm of rain, while Chikhli in Navsari and Mahuva in Surat received 8 mm each. Viramgam in Ahmedabad, Limkheda in Dahod and Chotila in Surendranagar received 7 mm each.
In the major cities of the state, Ahmedabad city received 2 mm of rain, Gandhinagar and Vadodara cities received 3 mm each, and Surat city received 2 mm of rain.
Amid the forecast of the India Meteorological Department, good rain showers have been recorded in areas of central and north Gujarat. Panchmahal, Mahisagar, Dahod, Chhota Udepur and Vadodara districts have seen the highest impact of rain, while some areas of South Gujarat and Saurashtra have recorded light to moderate rainfall.
