Porbandar: In good news for the people of Porbandar, new flight routes are being started by Alliance Air connecting Porbandar with Mumbai and Ahmedabad from June 25. These flights will operate two days a week, every Thursday and Saturday.

As per the schedule, Alliance Air’s ATR-72 aircraft will take off from Mumbai at 7:05 am and reach Porbandar at 8:40 am. The return flight will depart from Porbandar at 1:35 pm and reach Mumbai at 3:10 pm. The travel time of this direct flight will be 1 hour 35 minutes.

Similarly, the flight from Porbandar to Ahmedabad will depart at 9:05 am and reach Ahmedabad at 10:55 am. The return flight from Ahmedabad will depart at 11:20 AM and arrive in Porbandar at 1:10 PM. The service will also be operated by an ATR-72 aircraft, and the travel time will be approximately 1 hour 50 minutes.

The new flights will provide better air connectivity to Mumbai and Ahmedabad for the passengers of Porbandar and will also boost trade and tourism. The announcement was made by the Porbandar MLA and State Cabinet Minister Arjun Modhwadia’s office, and bookings for the flights have already started on the airline’s website.
