Ahmedabad: In view of Muharram (Tajia) on Friday, June 26, 2026, Ahmedabad Janmarg Limited (AJL) has announced changes to several BRTS bus routes to ensure smooth traffic movement. The revised arrangements will be in effect from 1:30 pm until further notice.

Routes to remain completely closed

• Route No. 07: Narol – Sarangpur Darwaja
• Route No. 101: RTO Circle (Circular)

Routes with partial changes

• Route No. 02: Will operate between ISKCON Cross Road and Law Garden instead of Odhav S.P. Ring Road and ISKCON Cross Road.
• Route No. 11: Will operate between Odhav S.P. Ring Road and Ajit Mill Crossroad instead of Odhav S.P. Ring Road and L.D. Engineering College.
• Route No. 09: Will operate between Gota Vasantnagar Township and L.D. Engineering College instead of Maninagar and Gota Vasantnagar Township.
• Route No. 14: Will operate between Sanand Circle and Danilimda Crossroad instead of Sanand Circle and Sarangpur Darwaja.

Routes to continue as usual

Bus services will continue as usual on the following routes: Maninagar–Ghuma Village (01), RTO Circle–Maninagar (03), L.D. Engineering College–Amba Township/Jhundal Circle (04), ISKCON Cross Road–RTO Circle/Airport (15), Vasna–Hanspura Ring Road (05), RTO Circle–Rabari Colony (12), Naroda S.T. Workshop–Narol (06), Nehrunagar–Sanand Circle (16), Jhundal Circle–Sarkari Litho Press Cabin (17), Nehrunagar–South Bopal Terminus (13), and Naroda Gam–Bhadaj Circle (08).

BRTS stations where bus services will remain suspended

Bus operations will remain suspended at Soma Textiles, Narayana Hospital, Kalupur Ghee Bazaar, Kalupur, Sarangpur Darwaja, Karnamukteshwar Mahadev, Raipur Darwaja, Astodia Darwaja, Astodia Chakla, Municipal Office, Raikhad Crossroad, Lokmanya Tilak Bagh, M.J. Library, Geeta Mandir, Bhulabhai Park, and Mangal Park stations/cabins.
