Where Did It Rain in Gujarat? Here’s the 24-Hour Rainfall Data

Narmada : Light to moderate rainfall has been recorded in some areas of the state during the last 24 hours as the monsoon made its onset on Wednesday. According to the rainfall data for the 24 hours ending at 6 am this morning, Sagbara taluka in Narmada district recorded the highest rainfall of 85 mm (3.35 inches).

Dang district also received good rainfall. Subir received 54 mm (2.13 inches), Ahwa received 46 mm (1.81 inches) and Waghai received 20 mm (0.79 inches). In total, 16 talukas witnessed rain showers, but only seven recorded more than 10 mm of rainfall. Subir and Sagbara were the only talukas to receive moderate to heavy rainfall.

In other areas, Navsari taluka and Uchchal in Tapi received 14 mm each, Songadh received 11 mm, while Chikda in Narmada, Vinchhiya in Rajkot, Nizar in Tapi and Chhota Udepur received 5 mm each.

Apart from this, Gandevi and Jalalpore in Navsari recorded 4 mm each, while Umargam in Valsad, Gadhada in Botad and Kukarmunda in Tapi recorded 3 mm each.

People have got relief from the heat as rainy conditions continue in parts of the state, including South Gujarat and the Dang-Narmada region. DeshGujarat
