Rain Activity Remains Limited in Gujarat; 24-Hour Rainfall Figures Here

Gandhinagar: According to the rainfall report released by the State Emergency Operation Center (SEOC), only eight talukas of Gujarat received light to moderate rainfall during the last 24 hours ending at 6 am today. The highest rainfall of 16 mm was recorded in Khedbrahma taluka of Sabarkantha district.
A total of 10 mm of rainfall was recorded in Barwala of Botad district, 4 mm in Maliya Hatina of Junagadh district, and 4 mm in Bhiloda of Aravalli district.
Apart from this, 3 mm of rainfall was recorded in Amod of Bharuch district, 2 mm in Kheralu of Mehsana district, 2 mm in Sami of Patan district, and 1 mm in Umargam of Valsad district.
Though the monsoon has arrived in the state, no significant rainfall was recorded in most places during the last 24 hours. However, people got partial relief from the heat as gusty winds and cloudy weather persisted in some places. DeshGujarat
