Gujarat Govt Declares 3% DA Hike for GSRTC Employees

Ahmedabad: The Gujarat government has approved a 3% increase in the dearness allowance (DA) for employees of the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC). The allowance, previously at 55%, will now be raised to 58%, announced Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi today.
In a tweet, Sanghavi said, “A decision has been taken to increase the dearness allowance for the corporation’s employees by 3%, making it henceforth payable at 58%. Until now, it was 55%, which has now been increased to 58%. The arrears of the increased allowance will also be paid. S.T. employees will directly benefit by more than Rs. 24 crore. Detailed orders regarding this will be announced shortly.” DeshGujarat
