Gujarat GST Revenue Grows 12% Year-on-Year in June 2026

New Delhi: Gujarat has recorded a significant increase in Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue during June 2026. According to data released by the Union Finance Ministry today, the state’s domestic GST revenue collection increased by 12 per cent year-on-year to Rs. 11,743 crore, compared to Rs. 10,491 crore in June 2025.

At the national level, total gross GST revenue (including imports) during June 2026 stood at Rs. 1.94 lakh crore, registering a year-on-year increase of 13.9 per cent. Total net GST revenue after refunds was Rs. 1.62 lakh crore, up 11.2 per cent from the previous year.

Among the major states, Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest growth in domestic GST revenue at 19 per cent, followed by Assam at 17 per cent, Punjab at 14 per cent, Gujarat at 12 per cent, Kerala, Goa and Telangana at 11 per cent each, Karnataka at 10 per cent, and Maharashtra at 9 per cent.

The state’s pre-settlement State GST (SGST) revenue also increased by 14 per cent to Rs. 4,333 crore from Rs. 3,791 crore in June 2025. After the settlement of its share of Integrated GST (IGST), Gujarat’s SGST revenue stood at Rs. 7,800 crore, marking a 27 per cent increase over the Rs. 6,150 crore received in the corresponding month last year.
