Gandhinagar: The state government has decided to assign additional charge of the posts currently vacant in the newly formed District Education Officer (DEO) offices following the division of the Ahmedabad (city), Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Kutch-Bhuj, Rajkot, and Surat District Education Officer offices. The Education Department has issued an official order in this regard.

As per the order issued, the additional charge of the District Education Officer of Ahmedabad (city) East has been assigned to the current District Education Officer of Ahmedabad city, Rohit Chaudhary.

The additional charge of the District Education Officer of Gandhinagar (Rural) has been given to Bhagwanbhai Prajapati, District Education Officer, Gandhinagar.

The additional charge of the District Education Officer of Vadodara (Rural) has been assigned to Mahesh Kumar R. Pandey, District Primary Education Officer, Vadodara.

The additional charge of the District Education Officer of Kutch (Anjar) has been given to Sanjay Parmar, District Education Officer, Kutch.

The additional charge of the District Education Officer of Rajkot (Rural) has been given to Dixit Patel, District Primary Education Officer, Rajkot.

Similarly, the additional charge of the District Education Officer of Surat (Rural) has been given to Bhagirath Singh Parmar, District Education Officer, Surat.

The order issued by the Deputy Secretary of the Education Department, Kinnari Shah, states that the concerned officers will have to immediately assume the additional charge assigned to them and inform the department accordingly. DeshGujarat
